This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Serve as a representative for Johnson & Johnson by engaging with existing clients and cultivating new leads to promote ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses.
• Utilize knowledge of products, services, and marketing initiatives to finalize sales and nurture customer relationships.
• Identify customer strategic goals, purchasing motivations, end-user requirements, office workflows, and business operations.
• Secure customer orders or product commitments.
• Acquire knowledge of products, services, and policies through various training methods, seminars, manuals, and field experience.
• Communicate product value effectively while securing orders.
• Aid in inventory management and the control of diagnostic lenses.
• Keep clients updated on supply and pricing trends.
• Maintain detailed records and reports of sales activities.
• Present scientifically and economically differentiated products compliant with the assigned territory.
• Position products and economic solutions for customers and patients through customized clinical and financial messaging.
• Leverage resources and tools to convey clear sales messages.
• Develop and implement pre-call plans that positively influence customer behavior.
• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required.
• At least 2 years of experience in business-to-business and/or medical sales, or a comparable mix of sales and/or industry experience, or completion/enrollment in the J&J Sales Leadership Development Program (SLDP).
• Must possess a valid driver’s license issued in the United States.
• Willingness to travel as necessary, including overnight and/or weekend trips.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, competitive selling techniques, business acumen, organizational abilities, capacity to manage complexity, and proficiency in both written and oral communication.
• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of sales applications and principles.
• Must reside in or near the designated geographical area.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. occasionally, sit at a desk for up to two hours, climb stairs, move quickly between business interactions, and travel independently by car or plane.
• Participate in sales training activities, seminars, manuals, and field-based learning alongside seasoned sales representatives.
