This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Act as the organization's representative to current clients while seeking out new opportunities to market ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses.
• Utilize knowledge of products, services, and marketing initiatives to finalize sales and nurture customer relationships.
• Identify customer strategic goals, purchasing motivations, end-user requirements, office workflows, and business operations.
• Acquire knowledge about products, services, and policies through sales training, instructional materials, seminars, and hands-on experience with seasoned sales professionals.
• Communicate product value effectively while securing orders, assisting in inventory and diagnostic-lens management, conveying supply and pricing trends, and keeping track of activity records and reports.
• Present scientific and economic product differences in compliance within the designated territory.
• Position products and economic solutions for customers and patients through customized clinical and financial messaging.
• Leverage various tools and resources to convey clear sales messages.
• Develop and implement pre-call strategies that consistently influence customer behavior.
• A minimum of a bachelor's degree.
• At least 2 years of experience in business-to-business and/or medical sales, or a comparable mix of sales and/or industry experience, or participation in/completion of a J&J Sales Leadership Development Program (SLDP).
• A valid driver's license issued in the United States.
• Willingness to travel as necessary, including overnight and/or weekend trips.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, competitive selling techniques, business insight, organizational abilities, complexity management, and both written and verbal communication skills.
• Comprehensive understanding of sales applications and principles.
• Residing in or near the assigned geographical area.
• Capable of lifting up to 30 lbs. occasionally, sitting at a desk for up to two hours, climbing stairs, moving quickly between business engagements, and traveling independently by car or plane.
• Preferred: a blend of business-to-business and medical sales experience.
• Preferred: documented sales achievements and awards, previous management development training, career advancement classes, or significant sales training programs.
