This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Cover all targeted clients within the designated territory.
• Identify and profile target customers while selecting and promoting products tailored for them.
• Implement marketing strategies in collaboration with the Area Manager.
• Drive revenue growth and achieve business objectives along with annual, quarterly, and monthly sales goals.
• Organize fieldwork patterns and cultivate relationships with doctors, KOLs, distributors, peers, and superiors.
• Expand the customer base and keep track of competitor activities and customer usage trends.
• Address customer complaints and strive for customer satisfaction.
• Monitor IOL, OVD, and Phaco market share along with competitor actions to ensure market leadership.
• Assist the Area Manager in fostering relationships with key opinion leaders.
• Collaborate with the Area Manager and Product Specialists to enhance data management and efficiency.
• Ensure adequate customer coverage and effective product promotion.
• Meet the required product mix and sales goals.
• Conduct a minimum of 4 regular customer and 2 cold-call sales calls each day.
• Identify and develop new customers, competitor clients, and existing AMO users for premium products.
• Participate in operating theaters to gain insight into customer needs.
• Perform equipment demonstrations and meet demo-to-sale conversion targets.
• Execute bundled deals and manage accounts receivable related to equipment sales.
• Enhance product knowledge and share plans for territory development.
• Organize scientific programs, CME/round-table meetings, and monthly training for patient counselors.
• Timely submission of tour plans, sales/activity plans, daily reports, expenses, and Phaco Funnel reports.
• Document competitor feedback, AMO secondary/tertiary sales, distributor stock levels, and AMO installation base.
• Bachelor’s degree in any field, preferably in a scientific discipline.
• At least 5 years of sales experience.
• 3–4 years of experience in the medical device, healthcare, or ophthalmology sector.
• Proficiency in customer profiling, product selection, product promotion, account management, channel management, and achieving sales targets.
• Knowledge of products and medical technology.
• Strong customer relationship management and distributor coordination skills.
• Willingness and capability to perform fieldwork.
• Competence in conducting product demonstrations, scientific programs, CME/round-table meetings, and training for patient counselors.
• Ability to maintain accurate records of sales, activities, expenses, competitors, distributors, installation bases, and market shares.
• Regular attendance at operating theaters is required.
• Willingness to travel across the assigned territory.
• A Master's degree in business or marketing is preferred.
