Territory Account Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Drive revenue and margin enhancement within a designated customer portfolio and geographical region.

• Serve as the representative for INS and its partners to both existing clients and prospective customers.

• Meet revenue and profitability goals within key regional accounts.

• Build and sustain a pipeline of qualified opportunities.

• Lead customer interactions, pursue leads, and convert prospects into enduring business relationships.

• Comprehend customer requirements and customize solutions from INS’s portfolio accordingly.

• Utilize internal and external resources to propose suitable solutions.

• Navigate intricate customer and partner organizations to foster agreement and expedite growth.

• Collaborate with Sales Engineers, Inside Sales Representatives, Solutions Sales, and Service teams.

• Work together with Inside Sales and Operations to meet client expectations.

• Input quotes and assist with order management as a backup for Customer Service.

• Cultivate relationships with strategic accounts, industry influencers, and partner contacts.

• Stay informed about networking, wireless, automation, and IoT products and their applications for customers.

• Provide support for either the West Coast or Mountain Region territory.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.

• 10 years of experience in technical sales or industrial networking/automation.

• Proven track record in customer-facing positions with complex product solutions.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Familiarity with networking, wireless, automation, and IoT technologies.

• Capability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple demands in a dynamic environment.

• Comfort with navigating ambiguous customer requirements and successfully closing deals.

• Proactive, self-motivated, and possess a strong hunter mentality.

• Ability to collaborate effectively across internal teams and partner organizations.

• Knowledge of CRM and pipeline management systems.

• Experience in delivering technical presentations and formulating account strategies.

• Proven ability to open new accounts and expand existing customer relationships.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

• Must be capable of sitting or standing for extended periods while operating a computer and telephone.
