This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Surpass defined sales targets while promoting the Arista brand within a designated group of 30–40 commercial accounts throughout Ontario.
• Employ a consultative sales methodology with primary client stakeholders to tackle hybrid cloud computing challenges and outdated legacy IT systems.
• Market Arista’s full product range, which includes open networking switching platforms, data center and campus networks, Cognitive Campus Wi-Fi, DANZ Monitoring Fabric, NDR, and endpoint security solutions.
• Engage with key influencers, decision-makers, and C-level executives to showcase Arista’s value proposition.
• Collaborate with systems engineers to design and present solutions that minimize total ownership costs.
• Partner with technology collaborators to pinpoint prospects and showcase solutions.
• Develop and maintain vital channel relationships within the territory.
• Create strategic and tactical account plans informed by business reviews.
• Execute demand-generation initiatives, including happy hours, lunch-and-learns, and technology forums.
• Work alongside peers on marketing strategies and best practices.
• Keep track of technology partner solutions, competitive offerings, and competitor strategies.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, aligning Arista’s technical resources with business outcomes.
• Report to a Regional Sales Manager or Area VP of Sales.
• Candidates must reside in the greater Toronto Area.
• Experience selling complex networking solutions within the greater Toronto Area is essential.
• A BS/BA degree or equivalent qualification is required.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in technology sales is necessary.
• Demonstrated success in direct selling to target accounts within the assigned territory, consistently exceeding sales targets.
• A relevant background in the data center or networking industry (LAN/WAN, SDN) from a technology partner, competitor, channel partner, or end user is required.
• Strong network and established relationships within the territory are essential.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to cultivate relationships at all organizational levels.
• Prior sales experience and technical knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Networking, SDN, NFV, Switching, Network Automation, Routing, Data Center, Edge Computing, Network Virtualization, Hyper-converged infrastructure, or Cloud computing.
• A hunter mentality with a proven record in technology sales.
