This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver professional nursing services via telephone using motivational interviewing techniques for contracts funded by pharmaceutical clients.
• Assist patients through both inbound and outbound calls within nursing support programs.
• Conduct risk assessments, provide home injection training, educate on disease states and products, and follow up with patient-specific call schedules.
• Make additional calls as needed and remain accessible to assist callers by phone.
• Respond to inquiries from patients, consumers, and healthcare professionals while recommending client-approved resources.
• Direct callers to training sessions, support groups, approved program materials, literature, or healthcare providers as suitable.
• Gather and input accurate, timely, clear, and comprehensive call and task data.
• Engage in program-specific customer meetings, training, and orientation sessions.
• Exhibit clinical proficiency through electronic or written assessments.
• Execute special projects and other responsibilities related to contract performance.
• Operate under moderate supervision.
• An Associate’s Degree in Nursing (or a diploma equivalent) is required.
• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing in the state of employment and/or cross-licensed in other states.
• Candidates in telephonic nursing roles must possess (or be willing to obtain) a compact nursing license.
• Willingness to acquire additional state licenses upon request is necessary.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience is preferred.
• Basic skills in database management and office navigation are required.
• Ability to maintain a high level of customer interaction and service skills over the phone is essential.
• Competence in multitasking with PC/phone-related tasks while adhering to approved scripted materials is needed.
• Ability to interpret patient information to determine appropriate next steps is crucial.
• Experience in telephonic nursing, preferably in support of a pharmaceutical product, is beneficial.
• Familiarity with Motivational Interviewing techniques is desired.
