Telephonic Case Manager, RN – Compact License

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Evaluate, plan, implement, coordinate, and assess service options for injured workers.

• Aid injured workers in obtaining timely, appropriate, and cost-effective medical care.

• Facilitate the return to work for injured workers.

• Liaise with medical providers, employers, injured workers, claims examiners, insurance representatives, physicians, therapists, and attorneys.

• Conduct thorough nursing evaluations to identify patient needs.

• Review and assess medical correspondence, provider reports, treatment plans, and medical history.

• Analyze claimants' clinical status and explore alternative treatment options.

• Provide claims examiners with updates on case status and guidance.

• Organize authorized transportation services.

• Assess therapy facilities and monitor progress on assigned cases.

• Prepare detailed case-file notes.

• Discuss evaluated data and care plans with insurance representatives prior to execution.

• Execute authorized care plans in collaboration with patients, physicians, and healthcare providers.

• Arrange for home care, procedures, medications, equipment, or supplies as necessary.

• Oversee and adjust care plans in conjunction with patients and physicians.

• Coordinate information among injured workers, physicians, employers, therapists, attorneys, and other providers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited nursing school.

• 3-5 years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse after graduation.

• Valid Compact RN license in good standing without any restrictions.

• Valid state-specific RN license in good standing without any restrictions.

• Must obtain CA RN License within 90 days.

• Demonstrated professional and technical skills of a Registered Nurse.

• Experience in Case Management is required.

• Experience in Workers' Compensation is preferred but not mandatory.

• Background in Home Health Care or Occupational Health is considered advantageous.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.

• High proficiency with computers and software applications (MS Word, MS Excel, Email).
