Telephone Sales Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Conduct outbound fundraising calls to gather pledges for client initiatives.

• Initiate engaging conversations with prospective donors.

• Adhere to the provided and client-sanctioned messaging for each call.

• Implement the fundraising call framework, relevant political reasoning, and transition phrases.

• Utilize responsive listening to deliver suitable situational responses.

• Meet and uphold project objectives and efficiency benchmarks.

• Maintain an occupancy ratio of 85%.

• Achieve 95% punctuality for shift beginnings as well as returning from breaks and lunch.

• Ensure 95% shift compliance and manage absenteeism effectively.

• Exhibit outstanding customer service and respond swiftly to contacted individuals.

• Embrace coaching and feedback with a positive mindset.

• Uphold a professional appearance and demeanor.

• Stay concentrated on the current project and prepare thoroughly for each call.

• Execute additional tasks as assigned by the Center Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old at the time of employment.

• Full-time day shift is required from Monday to Friday.

• Additional shifts may be needed during peak busy periods.

• Employment must be within the continental United States.

• Must possess a computer that meets system specifications.

• Must have a USB headset, a web camera, and a wired internet connection; Wi-Fi is not permitted.

• Must maintain a quiet, uninterrupted workspace free from distractions.

• A background check is mandatory.

• Use of identity masking, anonymization technology, unapproved VPNs, IP spoofing, location masking tools, anonymizers, proxies, and similar services is not allowed.

• Voice changers, accent changers, speech alteration tools, filters, avatars, overlays, and any visual effects that alter or mask voice or appearance are prohibited.

• Must present authentically during training, video meetings, phone calls, and work-related communications.

• Clear and effective verbal communication skills are essential.

• A pleasant and engaging voice with good pronunciation and diction is required.

• Physical stamina for prolonged periods of telephone work is necessary.

• Basic computer literacy, typing proficiency, and the ability to navigate software or database systems are required.

• Good hearing and active listening capabilities are essential.

• Ability to read and understand scripts displayed on a computer monitor.

• Strong reading comprehension and the ability to process written material swiftly are required.

• Must be able to multitask while conversing and inputting data.

• Emotional resilience is necessary when dealing with rejection or negative feedback.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in outbound sales, outbound fundraising, or outbound collections is required.

• A high school diploma and/or some college education is advantageous.
