This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) framework, covering processes, roles, timelines, inputs/outputs, and decision-making rights.
• Spearhead the implementation, pilot testing, refinement, and full-scale launch of the S&OP framework.
• Set up and oversee demand review, supply/capacity review, pre-S&OP, and executive S&OP cycles.
• Champion organizational change management, including stakeholder training and coaching initiatives.
• Create aggregate demand planning models and establish consensus demand perspectives.
• Design models for supply, capacity, inventory, scenarios, and sensitivity analyses.
• Incorporate new product launches and product lifecycle modifications into the S&OP process.
• Coordinate alignment among Sales/Commercial, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Product/Clinical departments.
• Lead monthly executive S&OP meetings to build consensus, make trade-off decisions, and approve plans.
• Connect S&OP outcomes to financial plans and budgets.
• Establish S&OP policies, standards, governance, data definitions, hierarchies, and performance metrics.
• Guide the selection, enhancement, or implementation of S&OP/Integrated Business Planning (IBP) tools and analytics.
• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and promote continuous improvement and benchmarking efforts.
• Build and manage a small S&OP/planning team while mentoring leaders and planners.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain/Operations Management, Data Analytics, Statistics, Finance, or a related discipline.
• At least 7 years of progressive experience in supply chain, planning, S&OP/IBP, or similar roles.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive leadership experience.
• Proven experience in implementing or leading S&OP/IBP processes and tools.
• Expertise in advanced planning systems, analytics/Business Intelligence (BI) tools, and Excel/other modeling tools.
• In-depth, practical knowledge of demand planning, supply planning, capacity modeling, and inventory management.
• Experience managing change across various functions.
• Capability to facilitate discussions across cross-functional teams and C-suite executives, foster alignment, and negotiate trade-offs.
• Strong modeling abilities and proficiency in scenario and sensitivity analysis.
• APICS/ASCM certification such as CPIM or CSCP is preferred.
• PMP or an equivalent project management certification is preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt, or a similar continuous improvement credential is preferred.
