Telemedicine Physician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Deliver telemedicine physician services as per the schedule.

• Offer clinical consultation in general practice and wound care, along with physician oversight.

• Act as a supervising or collaborating physician for specified advanced practice providers.

• Review and sign off on clinical documentation when necessary.

• Provide clinical guidance and support to NPs, PAs, nurses, and members of the interdisciplinary care team.

• Promote clinical quality, continuity of care, and compliance with NIVA Health clinical standards.

• Work collaboratively with clinical leadership on patient care and provider requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess an MD or DO degree.

• Hold an active medical license in good standing.

• Fulfill all credentialing requirements relevant to the services provided.

• Must be a resident of South Carolina, North Carolina, or Georgia.

• Experience in general practice, primary care, wound care, post-acute care, geriatrics, skilled nursing, home-based medicine, telemedicine, or working with advanced practice providers is highly preferred.

• Comfortable collaborating with advanced practice providers in a virtual setting.

• Maintain all licenses, credentials, and professional requirements pertinent to the services rendered.
