Telemedicine Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients and create individualized treatment plans through video consultations.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure the highest quality of care.

• Complete all necessary training and adhere to Allara's clinical policies, standards, and best practices.

• Inform patients about preventive care and wellness using evidence-based approaches.

• Keep precise, up-to-date patient records and ensure timely completion of charting.

• Address patient inquiries and administrative messages with clarity and compassion.

• Commit to a minimum of 20 patient-facing hours weekly, which includes consultations and medical guidance, prescribing when clinically warranted.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board Certification: Must possess active national board certification as a WHNP, FNP, or a related qualification.

• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of continuous clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner, focusing on chronic and complex women's health issues such as PCOS, Endometriosis, Hypothyroidism, Hashimoto's, Metabolic Syndrome, Menopause, Fertility, Postpartum, PMDD, and Obesity.

• Clinical Independence: Demonstrated capability to operate as an independent provider with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking skills.

• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, emphasizing compassion and clarity.

• Webside Manner: An innate ability to establish trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.

• Evidence-Based Practice: A sincere commitment to providing care that is grounded in the latest clinical research.

• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in utilizing multiple platforms including EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools.

• Telemedicine Experience: Previous telehealth experience is advantageous.

• State License Requirements and Hiring Considerations: An active, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional license in at least one U.S. state is essential.
