Telemedicine Internal/Family Medicine MD/DO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations through video consultations

• Create tailored treatment strategies

• Work in partnership with a multidisciplinary healthcare team

• Complete necessary training and adhere to clinical policies, standards, and best practices

• Educate patients on preventive care and wellness utilizing evidence-based methods

• Keep precise and current patient records

• Ensure timely completion of charting

• Address patient inquiries and administrative communications

• Provide a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours weekly, encompassing consultations and medical advice

• Prescribe medications when clinically indicated

• Specialize in PCOS, hypothyroidism/Hashimoto’s, metabolic syndrome, menopause/perimenopause/HRT, PMDD, obesity/weight management, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, and mild-to-moderate anxiety/depression

⛳️ Requirements

• MD or DO degree from a recognized institution

• Current national board certification in Internal or Family Medicine

• At least 2 years of continuous clinical experience as an Internal or Family Medicine Physician concentrating on women’s health issues

• Demonstrated ability to operate as an independent provider

• Strong diagnostic acumen and critical thinking capabilities

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating compassion and clarity

• Ability to establish trust and rapport with patients in a virtual setting

• Dedication to evidence-based clinical practices

• Proficiency in using EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools

• Previous telehealth experience is advantageous

• Active, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional licenses in multiple U.S. states

• At least one active license must be in a state currently hiring

• Multistate licensure or eligibility for licensure across states via the IMLC is mandatory
