Telemedicine Internal/Family Medicine MD/DO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations through video consultations

• Create tailored treatment strategies for individual patients

• Work in conjunction with a multidisciplinary healthcare team

• Complete necessary training and adhere to clinical policies, standards, and best practices

• Inform patients about preventive healthcare and wellness using evidence-based methods

• Keep precise and current patient records, ensuring timely documentation

• Address patient inquiries and administrative communications

• Deliver a minimum of 10 hours of patient-facing services weekly, which includes consultations, medical advice, and prescribing when clinically warranted

• Treat and assist patients dealing with PCOS, hypothyroidism/Hashimoto’s, metabolic syndrome, menopause/perimenopause/HRT, PMDD, obesity/weight management, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, and mild-to-moderate anxiety/depression

⛳️ Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution

• Active national board certification in Internal or Family Medicine

• At least 2 years of continuous clinical experience as an Internal or Family Medicine Physician specializing in women’s health issues

• Demonstrated capability to operate as an independent provider with robust diagnostic acumen and critical thinking abilities

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, characterized by empathy and clarity

• Ability to cultivate trust and rapport with patients in a virtual setting

• Dedication to evidence-based practices grounded in current clinical research

• Proficient with EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling applications

• Active, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional licenses in multiple U.S. states

• At least one active license must be in a state where there is a current hiring need

• Multistate licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure across states via the IMLC

• Openness to broaden expertise in additional areas of women’s healthcare

• Previous experience in telehealth is advantageous
