Telemedicine Internal/Family Medicine MD/DO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and create tailored treatment plans through video consultations.

• Work in conjunction with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

• Finish necessary training and adhere to clinical policies, standards, and best practices.

• Provide education to patients on preventive healthcare and wellness, utilizing evidence-based methods.

• Keep precise patient records and ensure timely charting.

• Address patient inquiries and administrative communications.

• Offer a minimum of 10 hours per week in patient-facing roles, encompassing consultations, medical guidance, and prescribing when clinically warranted.

• Manage conditions such as PCOS, hypothyroidism/Hashimoto's, metabolic syndrome, menopause/perimenopause/HRT, PMDD, obesity/weight management, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, and mild-to-moderate anxiety/depression.

• Broaden expertise in various aspects of women's healthcare.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution.

• Active national board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.

• At least 2 years of continuous clinical experience as an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician with a focus on women's health issues.

• Demonstrated capability to operate as an independent provider with strong diagnostic acumen and critical thinking abilities.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, characterized by compassion and clarity.

• Ability to establish trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.

• Dedication to evidence-based care grounded in contemporary clinical research.

• Proficient in using EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling applications.

• Active, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional licenses in multiple U.S. states.

• At least one active license must be in a state with a current hiring demand.

• Multistate licensure or eligibility for licensing across states through the IMLC is mandatory.
