Telemedicine Internal/Family Medicine MD/DO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and create individualized treatment plans through video consultations.

• Work in partnership with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure the highest quality of care.

• Complete necessary training and adhere to Allara's clinical policies, standards, and best practices.

• Inform patients about preventive care and wellness using evidence-based approaches.

• Keep accurate and current patient records, ensuring timely chart completion.

• Address patient inquiries and administrative messages with clarity and empathy.

• Commit to a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours weekly, which includes consultations and medical advice, with prescribing as clinically appropriate.

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution.

• Board Certification: Active national board certification in Internal or Family Medicine.

• Experience: At least 2 years of continuous clinical experience as an Internal or Family Medicine Physician, focusing on women’s health conditions (refer to Primary Clinical Focus).

• Clinical Independence: Demonstrated ability to operate as an independent provider with solid diagnostic judgment and critical thinking skills.

• Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, emphasizing compassion and clarity.

• Webside Manner: An innate capacity to establish trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.

• Evidence-Based Practice: A sincere dedication to providing care based on current clinical research.

• Technical Proficiency: Adept at using various platforms, including EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools.

• Telemedicine Experience: Previous telehealth experience is advantageous.

• State License Requirements & Hiring Considerations: An active, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional license in at least one U.S. state is mandatory.
