Telemedicine Internal/Family Medicine MD/DO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and create tailored treatment plans through video consultations.

• Work in conjunction with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure the highest quality of care.

• Fulfill necessary training requirements and adhere to Allara's clinical policies, standards, and best practices.

• Inform patients about preventive care and wellness using evidence-based methods.

• Keep precise, current patient records and ensure timely completion of charting.

• Address patient inquiries and administrative communications with clarity and compassion.

• Commit to a minimum of 10 hours of direct patient interaction weekly, which includes consultations, medical advice, and prescribing when clinically justified.

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree: MD or DO from a recognized institution.

• Board Certification: Active national board certification in Internal or Family Medicine.

• Experience: At least 2 years of continuous clinical experience as an Internal or Family Medicine Physician, specifically focused on women’s health issues (refer to Primary Clinical Focus).

• Clinical Independence: Demonstrated ability to operate as an independent provider with strong diagnostic skills and critical thinking abilities.

• Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, emphasizing empathy and clarity.

• Webside Manner: An innate ability to establish trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.

• Evidence-Based Practice: A sincere dedication to providing care based on the latest clinical research.

• Technical Proficiency: Comfortable navigating various platforms, including EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools.

• Telemedicine Experience: Previous telehealth experience is advantageous.

• State License Requirements & Hiring Considerations: A current, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional license in at least one U.S. state is mandatory.
