Telemedicine Internal Medicine MD/DO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and create tailored treatment plans through video consultations.

• Work in conjunction with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure the delivery of top-quality care.

• Complete necessary training and adhere to Allara's clinical policies, standards, and best practices.

• Provide patients with education on preventive care and wellness using evidence-based approaches.

• Keep precise, current patient records and ensure timely completion of charting.

• Address patient inquiries and administrative communications with clarity and consideration.

• Commit to a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours each week, including consultations and medical guidance, along with prescribing when clinically appropriate.

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution.

• Board Certification: Current national board certification in Internal or Family Medicine.

• Experience: At least 2 years of continuous clinical experience as an Internal or Family Medicine Physician, focusing on women’s health conditions (see Primary Clinical Focus).

• Clinical Independence: Demonstrated ability to operate as an independent provider with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking skills.

• Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, emphasizing compassion and clarity.

• Webside Manner: An innate ability to establish trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.

• Evidence-Based Practice: A sincere commitment to providing care based on current clinical research.

• Technical Proficiency: Ability to navigate various platforms, including EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools.

• Telemedicine Experience: Prior experience in telehealth is advantageous.

• State License Requirements & Hiring Considerations: An active, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional license in at least one U.S. state is mandatory.
