This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Perform thorough nutrition evaluations through virtual/telehealth consultations.
• Offer Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) for obesity and associated chronic diseases.
• Create tailored nutrition care strategies for individuals.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling using motivational interviewing techniques and behavior-change methodologies.
• Facilitate patient involvement by ensuring effective communication and addressing clinical issues as necessary.
• Work collaboratively with physicians, nurse practitioners, health coaches, and care coordinators.
• Engage in care planning and participate in case reviews when required.
• Record encounters, evaluations, and care plans in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
• Utilize telehealth and patient engagement technologies proficiently.
• Adhere to licensure requirements and complete necessary training and professional development.
• Play a role in the development of clinical programs, quality improvement initiatives, and innovative interdisciplinary care as opportunities present themselves.
• Current RD/RDN credential in good standing.
• Active LD/LDN or CD/CDN license in the state(s) of practice.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Nutrition/Dietetics or a related discipline.
• Experience in clinical or ambulatory settings providing nutrition counseling or MNT (mandatory).
• Familiarity with obesity, weight management, chronic conditions, and telehealth (preferred).
• Excellent patient-centered counseling and documentation abilities.
• Ability to work comfortably in interdisciplinary teams.
• Proficient with EHR systems and telehealth platforms.
• Access to reliable internet.
• Secure, HIPAA-compliant workspace.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and uphold required professional standards.
• Fully remote clinical position.
• Flexible schedule (20-40 hours per week).
• No evening or weekend hours required.
