Telehealth Registered Dietitian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Deliver telehealth medical nutrition therapy utilizing a functional and integrative methodology.

• Execute Simplex Health protocols, tools, and educational resources.

• Evaluate patients’ nutritional health and formulate customized root-cause care strategies.

• Design and adjust personalized nutrition interventions.

• Record new and follow-up appointments in the Healthie platform.

• Address patient inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

• Collaborate through case discussions, meetings, and shared educational experiences.

• Resolve workplace challenges and support team goals.

• Engage in clinical initiatives and foster a positive team atmosphere.

• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and clinical standards.

• Keep abreast of nutrition and health research and best practices.

• Manage a steady patient caseload with prompt follow-ups and continuity of care.

• Maintain a minimum of 12 hours of weekly availability, with potential for increased hours or full-time status.

⛳️ Requirements

• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN).

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient or clinical settings.

• Current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).

• Credentialed or willing to be credentialed with insurance providers.

• At least 12 hours of weekly availability.

• Pennsylvania license and completion of major insurance credentialing required prior to commencement; this process may take 3–6 months.

• A strong interest in integrative and functional nutrition.

• Experience in clinical or outpatient nutrition counseling.

• Must not have an active private practice or independent nutrition counseling business.

• Evening appointment availability is highly preferred.

• CDCES certification is strongly preferred.

• IFNA Certified / IFNCP credential is a plus; candidates actively enrolled in IFNA training are encouraged to apply.
