Telehealth Registered Dietitian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Deliver telehealth medical nutrition therapy utilizing a functional and integrative methodology.

• Implement protocols, tools, and educational resources from Simplex Health.

• Evaluate patients’ nutritional health and create tailored root-cause care strategies.

• Develop and adjust personalized nutrition interventions based on individual patient needs and objectives.

• Record new and follow-up appointments using the Healthie platform.

• Address patient communications promptly.

• Engage in case discussions, meetings, and collaborative learning.

• Resolve workplace challenges and support team success.

• Contribute positively to the team atmosphere and ongoing clinical projects.

• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and clinical standards.

• Keep abreast of the latest nutrition and health research, as well as best practices.

• Manage a steady patient caseload, ensuring timely follow-ups, continuity of care, and positive patient outcomes.

• Maintain at least 12 hours of weekly availability, with the potential to expand into a higher-hour or full-time schedule.

⛳️ Requirements

• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) certification.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient or clinical nutrition care.

• Current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).

• Credentialed or willing to become credentialed with insurance providers.

• Availability for at least 12 hours per week.

• Must be licensed in Pennsylvania by the start date, or eligible for licensure.

• Completion of major insurance credentialing is required prior to start; this process may take 3–6 months.

• Strong interest in integrative and functional nutrition.

• Experience in clinical or outpatient nutrition counseling is essential.

• CDCES certification is highly preferred.

• IFNA Certified; IFNCP credential is an advantage.

• Candidates currently enrolled in IFNA training are encouraged to apply.

• Preference for candidates available for evening appointments.

• Must not operate an active private practice or independent nutrition counseling business.

• Proficient in using the Healthie platform for documentation purposes.

• Capable of providing timely, professional, and supportive communication with patients.
