Telehealth Registered Dietitian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate intake assessments, which encompass medical history, dietary patterns, and laboratory findings.

• Facilitate diet and lifestyle counseling and educational sessions through video conferencing.

• Provide general advice on movement, sleep, or stress management as it pertains to nutritional care.

• Utilize Allara-supplied nutrition training and educational resources, tailoring care to meet patient requirements.

• Apply motivational interviewing and behavior change strategies throughout the continuity of care.

• Collaborate with APRNs and MDs involved in the medical management of patients.

• Ensure patient records are accurate and up-to-date.

• Document, respond to patient inquiries, and handle administrative tasks and messages in a timely manner.

⛳️ Requirements

• Registered Dietitian with a valid certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).

• At least 1 year of experience in treating patients with complex women's health issues (highly preferred).

• Demonstrated ability to operate as an independent provider with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking capabilities.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, emphasizing compassion and clarity.

• Capacity to establish trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.

• Dedication to evidence-based care grounded in the latest clinical research.

• Proficient in utilizing EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools.

• Previous telehealth experience is an advantage.

• Must possess an active, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional license in at least one U.S. state.
