Telehealth Registered Dietitian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate intake assessments, which include medical history, dietary practices, and lab results.

• Facilitate diet and lifestyle counseling as well as educational sessions through video conferencing.

• Offer general guidance on movement, sleep, or stress management in relation to nutritional care.

• Utilize Allara’s nutrition training resources and educational materials, while tailoring care to meet patient needs.

• Integrate motivational interviewing and behavior modification techniques throughout the continuity of care.

• Work in collaboration with APRNs and MDs who are overseeing the medical management of patients.

• Keep precise and current patient records.

• Complete documentation, address patient inquiries, and respond to administrative tasks and messages in a timely manner.

⛳️ Requirements

• Registered Dietitian holding a current certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).

• At least 1 year of experience in treating patients with complex women’s health conditions (highly desired).

• Demonstrated ability to operate as an independent provider.

• Strong diagnostic judgment along with critical thinking abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, characterized by compassion and clarity.

• Capability to establish trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.

• Dedication to evidence-based care grounded in contemporary clinical research.

• Comfortable using EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling applications.

• An active, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional license in at least one U.S. state is required.

• Experience with telehealth is an advantage.
