Telehealth Registered Dietitian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate intake assessments, which include medical history, dietary patterns, and laboratory findings.

• Facilitate counseling and educational sessions regarding diet and lifestyle through video conferencing.

• Provide general advice on movement, sleep, or stress management as it relates to nutritional care.

• Utilize nutrition training and educational resources provided by Allara, while tailoring care to meet patient needs.

• Apply motivational interviewing and behavior change strategies throughout the continuity of care.

• Work collaboratively with APRNs and MDs involved in the medical management of patients.

• Keep accurate and current patient records.

• Complete documentation and respond to patient inquiries.

• Address administrative tasks and communications promptly.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a Registered Dietitian with a current certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in treating patients with complex women's health issues (strongly preferred).

• Demonstrated ability to operate as an independent provider with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking capabilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, emphasizing compassion and clarity.

• Skill in establishing trust and connection with patients in a virtual environment.

• Dedicated to evidence-based practice grounded in the latest clinical research.

• Comfortable using various EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools.

• Previous experience in telehealth is advantageous.

• An active, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional license in at least one U.S. state is mandatory.
