Telehealth Registered Dietitian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate intake assessments, which include medical history, dietary practices, and lab results.

• Conduct counseling and educational sessions on diet and lifestyle through video conferencing.

• Offer general advice on movement, sleep, or stress management as it pertains to nutrition care.

• Utilize Allara’s nutritional training and educational resources while personalizing care to fit patient needs.

• Integrate motivational interviewing and behavior change strategies throughout the continuity of care.

• Collaborate with APRNs and MDs in managing patients' medical needs.

• Keep precise and current patient records.

• Complete documentation and respond to patient inquiries.

• Address administrative tasks and communications promptly.

⛳️ Requirements

• Registered Dietitian with a current certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).

• At least 1 year of experience in treating patients with complex women's health issues is highly preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to operate as an independent provider.

• Strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking capabilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, emphasizing empathy and clarity.

• Capacity to establish trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.

• Dedication to evidence-based care grounded in the latest clinical research.

• Proficient in using EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling platforms.

• Previous telehealth experience is advantageous.

• Must possess an active, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional license in at least one U.S. state.
