Telehealth Registered Dietitian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate intake assessments, which encompass medical history, dietary practices, and laboratory findings.

• Facilitate diet and lifestyle counseling and educational sessions through video conferencing.

• Provide general advice on movement, sleep, or stress management in relation to nutrition care.

• Utilize Allara’s nutritional training and educational resources while tailoring care to meet patient requirements.

• Implement motivational interviewing and behavior change strategies throughout the continuity of care.

• Collaborate with APRNs and MDs who are involved in the medical management of patients.

• Ensure patient records are accurate and up-to-date.

• Complete charting and promptly address patient inquiries, administrative duties, and messages.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a Registered Dietitian with active certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in treating patients with complex women's health issues is highly preferred.

• Capability to operate as an independent provider with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on compassion and clarity.

• Ability to establish trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.

• Dedication to evidence-based care grounded in the latest clinical research.

• Proficient with EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling applications.

• Previous telemedicine experience is an advantage.

• An active, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional license in at least one U.S. state is mandatory.

• Must submit professional references and CDR registration number.

• Must meet U.S. visa sponsorship requirements.
