Telehealth Registered Dietitian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate intake assessments, which include medical history, dietary practices, and lab results.

• Facilitate diet and lifestyle counseling and educational sessions through video calls.

• Provide general advice on movement, sleep, or stress management as it pertains to nutritional care.

• Utilize Allara’s nutrition training and educational resources, tailoring care to meet patient needs.

• Implement motivational interviewing and behavior-change strategies throughout ongoing care.

• Collaborate with APRNs and MDs in the medical management of patients.

• Ensure accurate and current maintenance of patient records.

• Complete charting, address patient inquiries, and respond to administrative tasks and messages in a timely manner.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid Registered Dietitian certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in treating patients with complex women’s health issues is highly preferred.

• Capacity to operate as an independent provider with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking abilities.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating compassion and clarity.

• Proficiency in establishing trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.

• Dedication to evidence-based practices grounded in the latest clinical research.

• Familiarity with various EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling applications.

• An active, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional license in at least one U.S. state is mandatory.

• Previous experience in telehealth is an advantage.
