Telehealth Registered Dietitian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate intake assessments, medical histories, dietary practices, lab results, and other pertinent information.

• Facilitate diet and lifestyle counseling and educational sessions via video conferencing.

• Offer general advice on movement, sleep, or stress management as it relates to nutrition care.

• Utilize Allara's nutrition training and educational resources while tailoring care to meet patient needs.

• Implement motivational interviewing and behavior change strategies throughout ongoing patient care.

• Collaborate with APRNs and MDs in managing patients' medical needs.

• Keep precise and current patient records.

• Document and respond to patient inquiries.

• Address administrative tasks and communications promptly.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active Registered Dietitian certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).

• At least one valid, unrestricted, and unencumbered state license to practice as a Registered Dietitian in the U.S.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in treating patients with complex women's health issues (strongly preferred).

• Capability to operate as an independent provider with sound diagnostic judgment and critical thinking abilities.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with a focus on compassion and clarity.

• Ability to establish trust and rapport with patients in a virtual setting.

• Dedication to evidence-based care supported by current clinical research.

• Proficiency with EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools.

• Previous telehealth experience is advantageous.

• Willingness to commit a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours weekly in addition to administrative duties.

• Availability to schedule at least 80% of contracted weekly hours during designated evening, Friday, and/or weekend time slots.

• Scheduling of hours must align with the time zone of active state license(s).
