Telehealth Registered Dietitian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate intake assessments, which include medical history, dietary practices, laboratory findings, and additional relevant information.

• Facilitate diet and lifestyle counseling and educational sessions through video conferencing.

• Provide general advice on movement, sleep, or stress management as it relates to nutritional care when appropriate.

• Utilize Allara’s nutritional training and educational resources while customizing care to meet patient requirements.

• Implement motivational interviewing and behavior change strategies throughout the continuum of care.

• Collaborate with APRNs and MDs who are involved in the medical management of patients.

• Keep accurate and current patient records.

• Commit to at least 10 patient-facing hours weekly in addition to administrative duties.

• Complete documentation and respond to patient inquiries.

• Address administrative tasks and communications promptly.

⛳️ Requirements

• Registered Dietitian with active certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).

• Minimum of 1-year experience treating patients with complex women's health issues (strongly preferred).

• Demonstrated ability to operate as an independent provider with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, focusing on compassion and clarity.

• Natural talent for establishing trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.

• Dedication to evidence-based care grounded in the latest clinical research.

• Comfortable navigating EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools.

• Previous telehealth experience is advantageous.

• Must hold an active, unrestricted, and unencumbered state license to practice as a Registered Dietitian in at least one U.S. state.

• At least 80% of weekly contracted hours must be scheduled during designated evening, Friday, and/or weekend times.

• Ability to work according to the time zone of the active state license(s).

• Two professional references: a past or current supervisor and a coworker from the last five years.

• Must provide a registration number from the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
