
Telehealth Registered Dietitian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Evaluate intake assessments that encompass medical history, dietary behaviors, laboratory findings, and more.
• Facilitate diet and lifestyle counseling and educational sessions through video conferencing.
• Provide general advice on movement, sleep, or stress management as it pertains to nutritional care.
• Utilize Allara’s nutrition training and educational resources while tailoring care to meet patient-specific needs.
• Employ motivational interviewing and behavior change strategies throughout the continuity of care.
• Partner with APRNs and MDs involved in the medical management of patients.
• Ensure patient records are accurate and consistently updated.
• Commit to a minimum of 10 hours of patient-facing interactions each week, in addition to administrative responsibilities.
• Complete documentation and respond to patient inquiries, administrative duties, and messages in a timely manner.
• Registered Dietitian with a current certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• Active, unrestricted, and unencumbered state license to practice as a Registered Dietitian in at least one U.S. state.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience working with patients who have complex women’s health issues (highly preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to operate as an independent provider.
• Strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, exhibiting compassion and clarity.
• Capacity to establish trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.
• Commitment to evidence-based practices grounded in contemporary clinical research.
• Proficiency in navigating EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling applications.
• Previous telehealth experience is advantageous.
• Willingness to dedicate at least 10 hours per week to patient-facing activities alongside administrative duties.
• Ability to schedule a minimum of 80% of weekly contracted hours during designated evening, Friday, and/or weekend time slots.
