Telehealth Registered Dietitian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate intake assessments, which include medical history, dietary habits, and laboratory findings.

• Facilitate diet and lifestyle counseling and educational sessions through video conferencing.

• Provide general advice on movement, sleep, or stress management as it relates to nutrition care.

• Utilize Allara’s nutrition training and educational resources while tailoring care to meet patient needs.

• Employ motivational interviewing and behavior change techniques consistently throughout the continuity of care.

• Work closely with APRNs and MDs involved in the medical management of patients.

• Keep accurate and current patient records.

• Complete charting and administrative duties.

• Address patient inquiries and respond to administrative tasks and messages promptly.

⛳️ Requirements

• Registered Dietitian with a current certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in treating patients with complex women’s health conditions (strongly preferred).

• Demonstrated ability to operate as an autonomous provider.

• Strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, focusing on compassion and clarity.

• Capability to establish trust and connection with patients in a virtual environment.

• Dedication to evidence-based care grounded in current clinical research.

• Comfort with various EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools.

• Previous telehealth experience is an asset.

• Active, unrestricted, and unencumbered state license to practice as a Registered Dietitian in at least one U.S. state is required.

• Minimum of 10 patient-facing hours per week, in addition to administrative time.
