Telehealth Registered Dietitian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate intake assessments, which include medical backgrounds, dietary practices, and lab results.

• Facilitate diet and lifestyle counseling and educational sessions through video conferencing.

• Offer general advice on movement, sleep, or stress management related to nutritional care.

• Utilize Allara’s nutrition training and educational resources while personalizing care to meet patient needs.

• Implement motivational interviewing and behavior change strategies throughout the continuity of care.

• Collaborate with APRNs and MDs involved in the medical management of patients.

• Ensure accurate and current patient records are maintained.

• Commit to a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours weekly in addition to administrative duties.

• Complete documentation and respond to patient inquiries.

• Address administrative tasks and messages promptly.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active Registered Dietitian certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).

• At least 1 year of experience in treating patients with complex women’s health issues (strongly preferred).

• Demonstrated ability to operate as an independent provider.

• Strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking capabilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on compassion and clarity.

• Ability to foster trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.

• Dedication to evidence-based care grounded in the latest clinical research.

• Comfortable using EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling platforms.

• Active, unrestricted, and unencumbered state license to practice as a Registered Dietitian in at least one U.S. state.

• Previous telehealth experience is an advantage.
