Telehealth Registered Dietitian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Evaluate intake assessments, which encompass medical history, dietary patterns, and laboratory findings.

• Facilitate diet and lifestyle counseling and educational sessions through video conferencing.

• Provide general advice on movement, sleep, or stress management as it pertains to nutritional care.

• Utilize Allara’s nutritional training and educational resources while tailoring care to meet patient needs.

• Implement motivational interviewing and behavior-change techniques throughout the continuum of care.

• Collaborate with APRNs and MDs involved in the medical management of patients.

• Ensure accurate and current patient records are maintained.

• Complete charting tasks, address patient inquiries, and respond promptly to administrative duties and messages.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a Registered Dietitian with active certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).

• At least 1 year of experience treating patients with complex women’s health issues is highly preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to operate as an independent provider with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking capabilities.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, emphasizing empathy and clarity.

• Ability to establish trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.

• Dedication to evidence-based care grounded in the latest clinical research.

• Proficient in using EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling applications.

• Previous telehealth experience is advantageous.

• Must hold an active, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional license in at least one U.S. state.
