Telehealth Registered Dietitian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Evaluate intake assessments, which encompass medical history, dietary patterns, laboratory findings, and additional relevant information.

• Facilitate diet and lifestyle counseling and educational sessions through video conferencing.

• Provide general guidance on movement, sleep, or stress management as appropriate to nutrition care.

• Utilize Allara’s nutritional training and educational resources while tailoring care to meet patient needs.

• Implement motivational interviewing and behavior-change strategies throughout the continuity of care.

• Work collaboratively with APRNs and MDs involved in the medical management of patients.

• Keep precise and current patient records.

• Commit to at least 10 hours of direct patient interaction per week, in addition to administrative responsibilities.

• Complete chart documentation and respond to patient inquiries.

• Attend to administrative duties and communications promptly.

⛳️ Requirements

• Registered Dietitian with a valid certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).

• A minimum of one year of experience in treating patients with complex women's health issues is highly preferred.

• Demonstrated capability to operate as an independent provider.

• Strong diagnostic judgment coupled with critical thinking abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, infused with compassion and clarity.

• Ability to establish trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.

• Dedication to evidence-based care grounded in current clinical research.

• Proficiency in navigating EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling applications.

• Previous telehealth experience is advantageous.

• An active, unrestricted, and unencumbered state license to practice as a Registered Dietitian in at least one U.S. state is mandatory.
