Telehealth Registered Dietitian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Evaluate intake assessments, encompassing medical histories, dietary patterns, lab results, and additional relevant information.

• Facilitate diet and lifestyle counseling and educational sessions through video conferencing.

• Provide general advice on movement, sleep, or stress management in relation to nutritional care.

• Utilize Allara's nutrition training and educational resources while customizing care to meet patient needs.

• Implement motivational interviewing and behavior change strategies throughout the continuity of care.

• Collaborate with APRNs and MDs involved in the medical management of patients.

• Keep precise and current patient records.

• Commit to a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours weekly, in addition to administrative responsibilities.

• Finalize charting and respond to patient inquiries.

• Address administrative tasks and messages promptly.

⛳️ Requirements

• Registered Dietitian with active certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).

• A minimum of 1 year’s experience in treating patients with complex women's health conditions is highly preferred.

• Possess an active, unrestricted, and non-encumbered state license to practice as a Registered Dietitian in at least one U.S. state.

• Ability to operate as an independent provider with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking capabilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating compassion and clarity.

• Capability to establish trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.

• Dedication to evidence-based care grounded in contemporary clinical research.

• Proficient in navigating EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools.

• Prior experience in telehealth is advantageous.

• Minimum commitment of 10 patient-facing hours weekly alongside administrative time.

• At least 80% of contracted weekly hours must be scheduled during designated evening, Friday, and/or weekend periods.

• Ability to work hours scheduled according to the time zone of active state licenses.
