Telehealth Registered Dietitian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Evaluate intake assessments, encompassing medical history, dietary practices, and laboratory findings.

• Facilitate diet and lifestyle counseling and educational sessions through video conferencing.

• Offer nutrition-related advice on movement, sleep, or stress management as necessary.

• Utilize Allara’s nutrition training and educational resources while customizing care to meet patient needs.

• Implement motivational interviewing and behavior change strategies throughout the continuity of care.

• Collaborate with APRNs and MDs in the medical management of patients.

• Keep precise and current patient records.

• Complete charting and respond promptly to patient inquiries, administrative responsibilities, and messages.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid Registered Dietitian certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in treating patients with complex women’s health conditions is highly preferred.

• An active, unrestricted professional license in at least one U.S. state is required.

• Capability to operate as an independent provider with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating compassion and clarity.

• Ability to establish trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.

• Dedication to evidence-based care founded on current clinical research.

• Proficiency in using EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools.

• Previous telehealth experience is an advantage.
