Telehealth Gynecologist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients and create tailored treatment plans through video consultations.

• Work in partnership with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure the delivery of top-notch care.

• Complete necessary training and adhere to Allara's clinical policies, standards, and best practices.

• Inform patients about preventive care and wellness utilizing evidence-based techniques.

• Keep precise and current patient records, ensuring timely charting.

• Address patient inquiries and administrative messages with clarity and attentiveness.

• Commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week for patient-facing activities, including consultations and medical advice, with prescribing as clinically appropriate.

⛳️ Requirements

• Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.

• Certification: Active national board certification in Gynecology.

• Experience: At least 2 years of continuous clinical practice as a Gynecologist, focusing on chronic and complex women's health issues such as PCOS, Endometriosis, Hypothyroidism, Hashimoto's, Metabolic Syndrome, Menopause, Fertility, Postpartum, PMDD, and Obesity.

• Clinical Independence: Demonstrated ability to operate as an autonomous provider with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking abilities.

• Communication Skills: Outstanding written and verbal communication, prioritizing compassion and clarity.

• Webside Manner: An innate skill to establish trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.

• Evidence-Based Care: A sincere dedication to providing care based on current clinical research.

• Technical Skills: Proficient in using various platforms, including EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools.

• Telemedicine Background: Previous telehealth experience is advantageous.

• Licensure: An active, unrestricted professional license in at least one U.S. state is mandatory.
