Telehealth Endocrinologist – Evenings, Fridays, Weekends

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and create tailored treatment strategies through video consultations.

• Work in partnership with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure the highest quality of care is provided.

• Complete necessary training sessions and adhere to Allara's clinical policies, standards, and best practices.

• Inform patients about preventive care and wellness utilizing evidence-based methods.

• Keep precise, current patient records and ensure timely completion of documentation.

• Address patient inquiries and administrative messages with clarity and consideration.

• Commit to a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours weekly, which includes consultations and medical advice, with prescribing when clinically warranted.

⛳️ Requirements

• Education: MD or DO degree from a recognized institution.

• Board Certification: Active ABIM board certification in Endocrinology obtained through an ACGME-accredited program.

• Experience: All qualified Endocrinologists are welcome to apply.

• Women’s health experience is advantageous!

• Clinical Independence: Demonstrated ability to operate as an autonomous provider with strong diagnostic and critical thinking capabilities.

• Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, emphasizing empathy and clarity.

• Webside Manner: An innate ability to foster trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.

• Evidence-Based Practice: A sincere dedication to providing care based on current clinical research.

• Technical Proficiency: Comfortable navigating various platforms, including EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools.

• Telemedicine Experience: Previous telehealth experience is beneficial.

• State License Requirements & Hiring Considerations: An active, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional license in at least one U.S. state is mandatory.
