Telehealth Endocrinologist – Evenings, Fridays, Weekends

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients and create tailored treatment plans through video consultations.

• Work in partnership with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care.

• Complete necessary training and adhere to Allara's clinical policies, standards, and best practices.

• Provide education to patients on preventive care and wellness utilizing evidence-based approaches.

• Keep precise and current patient records, ensuring timely charting.

• Address patient inquiries and administrative messages with clarity and consideration.

• Commit to at least 10 patient-facing hours weekly, which includes consultations and medical advice, with prescribing when clinically warranted.

⛳️ Requirements

• Education: MD or DO from an accredited educational institution.

• Certification: Current ABIM board certification in Endocrinology from an ACGME-accredited program.

• Experience: All qualified Endocrinologists are encouraged to submit their applications.

• Women's health expertise is advantageous!

• Clinical Independence: Demonstrated capability to operate as an independent provider with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking abilities.

• Communication Skills: Outstanding written and verbal communication, emphasizing compassion and clarity.

• Webside Manner: An innate ability to foster trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.

• Evidence-Based Practice: A sincere dedication to providing care based on contemporary clinical research.

• Technical Skills: Proficient in using various platforms including EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling applications.

• Telemedicine Experience: Previous telehealth experience is a plus.

• State License Requirements & Hiring Considerations: An active, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional license in at least one U.S. state is required.
