Telehealth Endocrinologist – Evenings, Fridays, Weekends

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and create customized treatment plans through video consultations.

• Work in conjunction with a multidisciplinary care team to provide exceptional care standards.

• Complete necessary training(s) and adhere to Allara's clinical guidelines, policies, and best practices.

• Inform patients about preventive care and wellness utilizing evidence-based methods.

• Keep precise and current patient records, ensuring timely chart completion.

• Address patient inquiries and administrative messages with clarity and care.

• Commit to a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours weekly, which includes consultations and medical guidance, with prescribing when clinically warranted.

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution.

• Board Certification: Active ABIM board certification in Endocrinology through an ACGME-accredited program.

• Experience: All qualified Endocrinologists are welcome to apply.

• Women’s health experience is advantageous!

• Clinical Independence: Demonstrated ability to operate as an independent provider with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking abilities.

• Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, emphasizing compassion and clarity.

• Webside Manner: An innate ability to establish trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.

• Evidence-Based Practice: A true dedication to providing care based on current clinical research.

• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in utilizing various platforms, including EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools.

• Telemedicine Experience: Previous telehealth experience is a plus.

• State License Requirements & Hiring Considerations: An active, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional license in at least one U.S. state is mandatory.
