Telehealth Endocrinologist – Evenings, Fridays, Weekends

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and create customized treatment plans through video consultations.

• Work in partnership with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure the delivery of top-quality care.

• Complete necessary training programs and adhere to Allara's clinical policies, standards, and best practices.

• Inform patients about preventive care and wellness utilizing evidence-based approaches.

• Keep precise, current patient records and complete documentation promptly.

• Address patient inquiries and administrative communications with clarity and attentiveness.

• Commit to a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours each week, which includes consultations and medical advice, with prescribing when clinically necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.

• Board Certification: Valid ABIM board certification in Endocrinology obtained through an ACGME-accredited program.

• Experience: All qualified Endocrinologists are encouraged to apply.

• Women's health experience is an added advantage!

• Clinical Independence: Demonstrated ability to operate as an independent provider with strong diagnostic acumen and critical thinking abilities.

• Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on empathy and clarity.

• Webside Manner: An innate ability to establish trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.

• Evidence-Based Practice: A sincere dedication to providing care grounded in the latest clinical research.

• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using various platforms, including EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools.

• Telemedicine Experience: Previous telehealth experience is advantageous.

• State License Requirements & Hiring Considerations: An active, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional license in at least one U.S. state is mandatory.
