Telehealth Endocrinologist – Evenings, Fridays, and/or Weekends

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients and create customized treatment plans through video consultations.

• Work in conjunction with a diverse care team to ensure the highest quality of patient care.

• Complete necessary training and adhere to Allara's clinical policies, standards, and best practices.

• Inform patients about preventive care and wellness by utilizing evidence-based approaches.

• Keep precise and updated patient records, ensuring timely completion of charting.

• Address patient inquiries and administrative messages with clarity and consideration.

• Commit to a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours weekly, which includes consultations and medical advice, along with prescribing when clinically suitable.

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree: MD or DO from a recognized institution.

• Board Certification: Current ABIM board certification in Endocrinology from an ACGME-accredited program.

• Experience: All qualified Endocrinologists are encouraged to apply.

• Women’s health experience is advantageous!

• Clinical Independence: Demonstrated ability to operate as an independent provider with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking skills.

• Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on compassion and clarity.

• Webside Manner: An innate ability to establish trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.

• Evidence-Based Practice: A sincere dedication to providing care based on the latest clinical research.

• Technical Proficiency: Comfortable navigating various platforms including EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools.

• Telemedicine Experience: Previous telehealth experience is a plus.

• State License Requirements & Hiring Considerations: An active, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional license in at least one U.S. state is required.
