Telehealth Endocrinologist, Board-Eligible

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients and create tailored treatment plans through video consultations.

• Work alongside a multidisciplinary care team to provide exceptional standards of care.

• Complete necessary training sessions and adhere to Allara's clinical policies, standards, and best practices.

• Instruct patients on preventive care and wellness utilizing evidence-based methods.

• Keep precise and current patient records, ensuring timely completion of charting.

• Address patient inquiries and administrative messages with clarity and attentiveness.

• Commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week of patient-facing time, which includes consultations and medical advice, with prescribing when clinically appropriate.

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution.

• Board Certification: Active ABIM board certification in Internal Medicine.

• Endocrinology Fellowship Training & Board Eligibility: Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Endocrinology fellowship.

• Board-eligible in Endocrinology through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).

• Commitment to obtaining ABIM board certification in Endocrinology within one year of employment.

• Experience: All board-eligible Endocrinologists are encouraged to apply.

• Women's health experience is advantageous!

• Clinical Independence: Demonstrated ability to operate as an independent provider with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking skills.

• Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, emphasizing compassion and clarity.

• Webside Manner: An innate ability to foster trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.

• Evidence-Based Practice: A sincere commitment to providing care grounded in contemporary clinical research.

• Technical Proficiency: Comfortable navigating various platforms, including EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools.

• Telemedicine Experience: Previous telehealth experience is a plus.

• State License Requirements & Hiring Considerations: An active, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional license in at least one U.S. state is mandatory.
