Telehealth Endocrinologist, Board-Eligible

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients and create tailored treatment plans through video consultations.

• Work alongside a diverse care team to ensure the highest quality of care.

• Complete necessary training and adhere to Allara's clinical policies, standards, and best practices.

• Inform patients about preventive care and wellness utilizing evidence-based approaches.

• Keep precise and updated patient records while ensuring timely charting.

• Address patient inquiries and administrative messages with clarity and consideration.

• Commit to a minimum of 10 hours of patient interaction weekly, inclusive of consultations and medical advice, with prescribing as clinically appropriate.

⛳️ Requirements

• Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.

• Board Certification: Active ABIM board certification in Internal Medicine.

• Endocrinology Fellowship Training & Board Eligibility: Completion of an ACGME-accredited Endocrinology fellowship and board-eligible in Endocrinology through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).

• Commitment to obtaining ABIM board certification in Endocrinology within one year of employment.

• Experience: All board-eligible Endocrinologists are encouraged to apply, with women's health experience viewed as advantageous.

• Clinical Independence: Demonstrated capability to operate as an autonomous provider with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking abilities.

• Communication Skills: Outstanding written and verbal communication, emphasizing compassion and clarity.

• Webside Manner: An innate ability to build trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.

• Evidence-Based Practice: A sincere commitment to providing care grounded in current clinical research.

• Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using various platforms including EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools.

• Telemedicine Experience: Prior experience in telehealth is beneficial.

• State License Requirements & Hiring Considerations: An active, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional license in at least one U.S. state is mandatory.
