Telehealth Endocrinologist, Board-Eligible

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and create tailored treatment strategies through video consultations.

• Work alongside a multidisciplinary care team to ensure the highest quality of care is delivered.

• Complete necessary training sessions and adhere to Allara's clinical policies, standards, and best practices.

• Inform patients about preventative health measures and wellness through evidence-based approaches.

• Keep precise and current patient records and ensure timely completion of documentation.

• Address patient inquiries and administrative messages with clarity and attentiveness.

• Commit to at least 10 patient-facing hours weekly, which includes consultations and medical guidance, with prescribing when clinically appropriate.

⛳️ Requirements

• Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.

• Certification: Active ABIM board certification in Internal Medicine.

• Fellowship Training: Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Endocrinology fellowship.

• Board Eligibility: Eligible for Endocrinology certification through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).

• Commitment: Willingness to obtain ABIM board certification in Endocrinology within one year of employment.

• Experience: All board-eligible Endocrinologists are encouraged to apply.

• Women's Health: Experience in women's health is advantageous.

• Clinical Independence: Demonstrated ability to operate as an independent provider with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking capabilities.

• Communication Skills: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, emphasizing compassion and clarity.

• Webside Manner: An innate ability to build trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.

• Evidence-Based Practice: A sincere commitment to providing care that is grounded in current clinical research.

• Technical Skills: Comfortable using various platforms including EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools.

• Telemedicine Experience: Previous telehealth experience is a plus.

• Licensure: An active, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional license in at least one U.S. state is mandatory.
