This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Deliver telehealth medical nutrition therapy utilizing a functional and integrative approach, with a primary emphasis on pregnancy and gestational diabetes.

• Evaluate patients’ nutritional health, addressing prenatal requirements, blood sugar management, and hormone-related issues.

• Review and monitor daily blood glucose logs for patients with gestational diabetes.

• Provide prompt feedback, necessary adjustments, and continuous support to patients.

• Educate and guide patients on the use of glucose meters and techniques for monitoring blood sugar levels.

• Create and adapt personalized nutrition care plans aimed at achieving glycemic control throughout pregnancy.

• Collaborate with referring physicians and healthcare providers for coordinated care.

• Execute Simplex Health protocols and utilize provided materials.

• Record new and follow-up appointments within the Healthie platform.

• Respond to patient inquiries in a supportive and timely manner.

• Address and resolve workplace issues or conflicts as they arise.

• Engage in team collaboration and support collective decisions and outcomes.

• Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure compliance.

• Stay updated on research related to women’s health, prenatal nutrition, and diabetes management.

• Manage a full and stable patient caseload effectively.

• Ensure timely follow-ups, continuity of care, and favorable patient outcomes.

• Maintain a minimum of 15 hours of weekly availability, with potential for increased hours or full-time opportunities.

• Report to the Senior Clinical Director.


⛳️ Requirements

• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential required.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient or clinical settings.

• Current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).

• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Pennsylvania.

• PA license and completion of major insurance credentialing must be completed before starting.

• Availability for at least 15 hours per week is required.

• Must be credentialed or willing to become credentialed with insurance providers.

• A strong passion for women’s health, pregnancy, and gestational diabetes is essential.

• Familiarity with an integrative and functional approach to nutrition care.

• Experience or a keen interest in prenatal nutrition, gestational diabetes, or hormone-related conditions is preferred.

• Candidates should not have an active private practice or independent nutrition counseling business.

• Evening availability for appointments is highly preferred.

• Certification as a CDCES is strongly preferred.

• IFNA Certification; IFNCP credential is a plus.

• Candidates currently enrolled in IFNA training are welcome to apply.

• Previous experience working with pregnant patients or managing gestational diabetes is advantageous.

• Ability to adapt to new research findings, systems, and technologies is necessary.

• Strong skills in organization, multitasking, and project management are required.
