Telehealth Dietitian – Women’s Health

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Deliver telehealth medical nutrition therapy utilizing a functional and integrative methodology.

• Concentrate care mainly on pregnancy and gestational diabetes (GDM).

• Assist patients dealing with hormonal imbalances, PCOS, fertility issues, perimenopause, gut health, and metabolic health.

• Evaluate patients’ nutritional health, prenatal requirements, blood sugar management, and hormone-related conditions.

• Track and analyze daily blood glucose logs for GDM patients.

• Provide prompt feedback, adjustments, and continuous support.

• Educate and guide patients on the use of glucose meters and blood sugar monitoring techniques.

• Create and adjust personalized nutrition care plans aimed at glycemic control during pregnancy.

• Facilitate care coordination and communication with referring physicians and other healthcare providers.

• Apply Simplex Health protocols and materials.

• Record new and follow-up appointments in Healthie.

• Respond to patient inquiries in a timely and supportive manner.

• Address work-related issues or conflicts as they arise.

• Foster team collaboration and support team decisions and outcomes.

• Comply with company policies and procedures.

• Maintain a full patient caseload with timely follow-ups and ensure continuity of care.

• Engage in onboarding, training, case reviews, team meetings, committees, resources, and clinical initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential required.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient or clinical care settings.

• Experience or a strong interest in prenatal nutrition, gestational diabetes (GDM), or hormone-related conditions.

• Current registration with the CDR.

• Credentialed or willing to be credentialed with insurance companies.

• A Pennsylvania license and completion of major insurance credentialing are mandatory before starting.

• Availability for evening appointments is highly preferred.

• CDCES certification is strongly preferred.

• IFNA Certified (IFNCP credential is a plus); candidates currently enrolled in IFNA training are encouraged to apply.

• A passion for women’s health, pregnancy, and gestational diabetes.

• Familiarity with integrative and functional nutrition approaches.

• Proficiency in using glucose meters and blood sugar monitoring techniques.

• Experience with the Healthie platform.

• Strong attention to detail in clinical documentation.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills with physicians, healthcare providers, and team members.

• Capability to manage a full and consistent patient caseload.
