This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Deliver telehealth medical nutrition therapy utilizing a functional and integrative methodology, primarily concentrating on pregnancy and gestational diabetes (GDM).
• Evaluate the nutritional health of patients/clients, focusing on prenatal requirements, blood sugar management, and hormone-related issues.
• Monitor and assess daily blood glucose records for GDM patients, offering prompt feedback, modifications, and ongoing assistance.
• Educate and guide patients on the appropriate use of glucose meters and blood sugar monitoring techniques.
• Create and adjust personalized nutrition care plans, emphasizing glycemic control throughout pregnancy.
• Coordinate care and communicate effectively with referring physicians and healthcare providers to guarantee continuity of care.
• Implement Simplex Health protocols and materials in patient care.
• Thoroughly document all new and follow-up appointments in the Healthie platform with meticulous attention to detail.
• Respond promptly and supportively to all patient communications.
• Communicate openly and effectively to address work-related issues or conflicts.
• Actively contribute to team collaboration and support team decisions and outcomes.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Remain current and forward-thinking regarding emerging research in women’s health, prenatal nutrition, and diabetes care.
• Manage a full and consistent patient caseload, ensuring timely follow-ups, continuity of care, and optimal patient outcomes.
• Have a passion for women’s health, pregnancy, and gestational diabetes (GDM).
• Employ an integrative and functional nutrition approach to patient care.
• Excel in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.
• Possess at least 2 years of experience in outpatient or clinical care.
• Have experience or a strong interest in prenatal nutrition, GDM, or hormone-related conditions.
• Hold current registration with the CDR.
• Be credentialed or willing to become credentialed with insurance companies.
• Availability for evening appointments is strongly preferred to accommodate patient demand, with flexibility based on individual scheduling needs.
• CDCES (Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist) certification is strongly preferred.
• IFNA Certified (IFNCP credential is a plus); candidates currently enrolled in IFNA training are welcome.
• Previous experience supporting pregnant patients or managing gestational diabetes.
• PA license and completion of major insurance credentialing required before starting; this process may take 3–6 months.
• Flexible Scheduling: Choose between 32 or 40 hours per week, with the ability to structure your schedule to best suit you and your patients.
• 4-Day Work Week (32 hours): A condensed schedule option designed to foster balance, energy, and sustainability.
• Performance-Based Bonus Opportunities: Generate additional income based on patient retention and face-to-face care time.
• Supplement Commissions: Earn 12.5% of MSRP on supplements purchased through Fullscript, providing extra earning potential.
