This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Deliver telehealth outpatient medical nutrition therapy utilizing an integrative and functional nutrition approach.

• Execute Simplex Health protocols, tools, and educational resources in patient care.

• Evaluate patients’ nutritional health and create personalized, root-cause care plans.

• Design and adjust tailored nutrition interventions based on individual patient needs and goals.

• Record all new and follow-up appointments within the Healthie platform.

• Address patient inquiries promptly, professionally, and supportively.

• Work collaboratively with team members through case discussions, meetings, and shared learning experiences.

• Communicate clearly and effectively to resolve work-related challenges and enhance team outcomes.

• Foster a positive and collaborative team atmosphere and contribute to ongoing clinical projects.

• Comply with company policies, procedures, and clinical standards.

• Keep up-to-date with emerging research and best practices in nutrition and health.

• Maintain a full and steady patient caseload, ensuring timely follow-ups, continuity of care, and optimal patient outcomes.

• Engage in structured onboarding, regular case reviews, team meetings, committees, resource development, and clinical initiatives.

• Report directly to the Clinical Manager.

• Transition from variable-hour ramp-up to a full-time salaried schedule once full-time metrics are achieved.


⛳️ Requirements

• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN).

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient or clinical care.

• Current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).

• Credentialed or willing to be credentialed with insurance companies.

• Pennsylvania license and completion of major insurance credentialing are required prior to start.

• Enthusiasm for integrative and functional nutrition.

• Availability for evening appointments is strongly preferred.

• Certification as a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) is preferred.

• IFNA Certified (IFNCP credential is a plus); candidates actively enrolled in IFNA training are welcome.

• Must not have an active private practice or independent nutrition counseling business.

• Capability to provide telehealth medical nutrition therapy.

• Proficiency in assessing nutritional health and developing personalized care plans.

• Skill in creating and modifying individualized nutrition interventions.

• Strong attention to detail for documenting appointments in the Healthie platform.

• Timely, professional, and supportive communication with patients.

• Ability to collaborate through case discussions, meetings, and shared learning.

• Commitment to staying current with emerging research and best practices in nutrition and health.

• Capability to manage a full and consistent patient caseload.

• Strong organizational, multitasking, project management, and adaptive learning skills.
