Telehealth Dietitian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Deliver telehealth outpatient medical nutrition therapy using an integrative and functional nutrition methodology.

• Apply Simplex Health protocols, tools, and educational resources in patient care.

• Evaluate patients’ nutritional health and create tailored, root-cause care plans.

• Design and adjust personalized nutrition interventions according to patient requirements and objectives.

• Record all new and follow-up appointments within the Healthie platform.

• Address patient inquiries promptly, professionally, and supportively.

• Work collaboratively with team members through case discussions, meetings, and shared learning experiences.

• Communicate transparently and effectively to resolve work-related challenges and promote team success.

• Foster a positive, collaborative team atmosphere and engage in ongoing clinical initiatives.

• Comply with company policies, procedures, and clinical standards.

• Remain updated on new research and best practices in nutrition and health.

• Manage a consistently full patient caseload, ensuring timely follow-ups, continuity of care, and excellent patient outcomes.

• Engage in structured onboarding, training, case reviews, team meetings, and shared learning opportunities.

• May contribute to social media, engagement projects, committees, resources, clinical initiatives, or lunch & learns.

⛳️ Requirements

• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN).

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in outpatient or clinical care.

• Current registration with CDR.

• Credentialed or willing to become credentialed with insurance providers.

• PA license and completion of major insurance credentialing are required before starting.

• Strong enthusiasm for integrative and functional nutrition.

• Background in clinical or outpatient nutrition counseling.

• Availability for evening appointments is highly preferred.

• CDCES certification is strongly preferred.

• IFNA Certified; IFNCP credential is an advantage.

• Candidates currently enrolled in IFNA training are encouraged to apply.

• Must not have an active private practice or independent nutrition counseling business.

• Capability to provide telehealth medical nutrition therapy.

• Competence in assessing nutritional health and developing personalized care plans.

• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to respond to patient communications in a professional and supportive manner.

• Capacity to collaborate through case discussions, meetings, and shared learning opportunities.

• Ability to stay updated with nutrition and health research and best practices.

• Proficiency in managing a full, consistent patient caseload.
