Telco Cloud Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Facilitate the adoption of Red Hat solutions among telecommunications service providers, network equipment vendors, and system integration partners.

• Match customer needs and use cases with solution capabilities through both in-person and remote engagements.

• Take ownership of the architecture, design, and successful implementation of large-scale telco cloud platforms utilizing OpenShift and automation frameworks.

• Conduct discovery, analysis, and design workshops that influence customer use cases and architectural choices.

• Guide consulting teams during customer pilot and production rollouts.

• Create and present materials that enable pre-sales, consulting, and support teams to enhance Telco solutions.

• Collaborate with product business units, engineering, consulting, support, and sales teams.

• Develop repeatable methodologies and tools to enhance service capabilities and mitigate delivery risks.

• Produce white papers, host webinars, and present at industry conferences.

• Design distributed OpenShift platforms for core and edge environments.

• Develop CNF/VNF onboarding and lifecycle management workflows.

• Construct automated deployment and operational pipelines using Zero Touch Provisioning (ZTP), GitOps, and Ansible.

• Integrate customer network and IT systems, including legacy OSS/BSS frameworks.

• Create architecture-driven Statements of Work, effort estimations, and service scopes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Telecommunications, network-related Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent industry certification.

• Profound understanding of modern telco networks and protocols, and their implementation in software-based solutions.

• Extensive experience in designing and delivering cloud and automation technologies for telco network platforms through distributed, cross-functional teams.

• Comprehensive technical expertise and practical skills with OpenShift, OpenStack, Software Defined Storage, and Ansible Automation within a telco network environment.

• Strong background in consultative engagements with major software vendors, systems integrators, network equipment providers, or telco service providers.

• A flexible, innovative, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a complex, inventive environment with diverse cross-functional teams and various products and services.

• Capacity for self-directed learning and the swift acquisition and application of new technologies.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French.

• Significant experience delivering presentations to C-level executives at large corporations.
